The 1st Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials was the first of this series of national conferences on composite materials organized biennially in Brazil. The event was held at Praiamar Natal Hotel & Convention in Natal – RN, July 16-19, 2012. This first edition had 160 delegates, 90 of whom were undergraduate and graduate students. The participation of delegates from industry and leading researchers in the field from Brazil and abroad was also remarkable, with 22 delegates from countries such as USA, Germany, UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Chile, Singapore, China, South Korea and Japan. 220 abstracts were submitted to the event, 152 of which were then submitted as full papers. The conference program combined invited plenary lectures and parallel oral sessions.

The 2nd Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials was the second of this series of national conferences on composite materials organized biennially in Brazil. The event was held at Technological Park in São José dos Campos – SP, September 15-18, 2014. This second edition had 140 delegates, 80 of whom were undergraduate and graduate students. The participation of delegates from industry and leading researchers in the field from Brazil and abroad was also remarkable, with 20 delegates from countries such as USA, Germany, UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Chile, Singapore, China, South Korea and Japan. 160 abstracts were submitted to the event, 136 of which were then submitted as full papers. The conference program combined invited plenary lectures and parallel oral sessions.

The 3rd Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials was the third of this series of national conferences on composite materials organized biennially in Brazil. The event was held at FAURGS Event Center in Gramado – RS, August 28-31, 2016. This third edition had 300 delegates, 162 of whom were undergraduate and graduate students. The participation of delegates from industry and leading researchers in the field from Brazil and abroad was also remarkable, with 10 delegates from countries such as USA, Germany, France, India, Sweden, South Korea and Japan. 366 abstracts were submitted to the event, 252 of which were then submitted as full papers. The conference program combined invited plenary lectures and parallel oral sessions.
